Special Terms for Facial Data Processing
1. Scope of Application
These terms apply exclusively to the "AI Portrait" feature. If you do not use or enable this feature, these terms shall have no legal effect or binding force upon you.
2. Definition of Facial Data
"Facial Data" refers to all information identifiable as facial features of a natural person extracted from the photos you upload. This includes, but is not limited to, facial images, facial geometric templates, facial landmark coordinates (key points), and any data that, alone or in combination with other information, can be used to identify a specific natural person.
3. Purpose of Facial Data Processing
To provide you with "AI Portrait" and related visual effects, we process data for the following purposes:
- Identification: To identify facial regions during the upload stage.
- Synthesis: To synthesize the identified facial features with effect templates on our servers.
- Delivery: To return the final generated results to you for local saving or sharing.
Beyond the purposes stated above, we will not perform any further processing or analysis of your Facial Data.
4. Collection, Storage, and Deletion
- Collection Method: Data upload is triggered only after you actively click "Upload Photo" and complete the selection of a facial photo.
- Retention Period and Location:Original Photos: Once the effect synthesis is complete, the original photos are immediately and securely deleted from the server (non-recoverable).Synthesized Avatars: Generated results are kept in an encrypted storage area for 60 days, after which they are automatically and permanently deleted.Local Cache: The application only retains copies that you manually choose to "Save to Album" on your device. You may delete these local copies at any time.
5. Sharing, Transfer, and Public Disclosure
We solemnly pledge:
- We will not share, transfer, or publicly disclose your Facial Data to any third party.
- We do not provide any data interfaces (APIs) for third parties to access or read your Facial Data.
- In cases where disclosure is mandatory under laws or regulations, we will inform you of the recipient's identity, contact information, and the purpose/method of processing via in-app notifications or pop-ups upon receiving formal legal documents. We will obtain your separate consent in accordance with applicable laws.
